Dr. Helen Halpin is Professor of Health Policy and the Director of the Center for Health and Public Policy Studies at the University of California at Berkeley. She served as a health policy advisor to the Presidential Campaign of Senator Barack Obama.

Here she speaks at a public forum titled "What's the Prescription for Health Care Reform" on Oct. 1, 2009 before a crowd of 400 Berkeley students. The forum was sponsored by Berkeley Students for Healthcare Reform, Boalt Hall Democrats, Berkeley College Republicans, Cal Democrats, CalPirg, the Center for Health Leadership, the Graduate Assembly and the Social Welfare Graduate Assembly
