Its not terrorism, they were wars, but there over now and thats what matters. the past is irrelevant at this point, the past has been bloody, like any ex colonized countries is, but here in the republic thats over now. and we have to concentrate on here and now and making it a better country, what sinn fein are trying to do, along with FG and Lab. what goes on in the north doesn't concern me, if nationalists and loyalists up there feel that they need to resort to violence then i wont judge them
@AnnoyingBeast Nah, I think Irish politics is so utterly addicted to terrrorism, the bottom line is that they really do enjoy it. Outside of the Greens I can't think of one political party that hasn't got a past. They do enjoy it. They enjoy it to the point where it became utterly meaningless. Feeling pain is not what Irish political parties do. They killed enough of their own people to disprove your point.'
@TheChapaqua , in fact 2 IRSP (old socialist party) members shot 2 gardai in louth about 25 years ago... The men who fought in the war of independence killed loads of people aswell, the leaders of 1916 killed a few in their times, eamonn devalera was the leader of a collumn that killed 300 british soldiers during the rising. i could go on and on all night. but these murders happened during wars. wars for greater freedom, and that what justifies the killing of enemy soldiers
@TheChapaqua they DID kill people, in a war, like the brits n loyalists killed people... labour used to be the political arm of the OIRA, they killed loads too, fianna fail was the political wing of the anti treaty IRA, they killed loads aswell, then theres fine gael, pro treaty who killed loads and then they turned into nazis in the 30's... and nazis killed millions.... the socialist party used to be the political arm of INLA, they killed loads.
@AnnoyingBeast 'We in SF believe that anybody not Irish should be killed. We also believe that anyone Irish who doesn't subscribe to our definition of 'Irishness, should be killed'.
