Obesity is becoming a worldwide problem. An accurate method of measuring obesity is the BMI (Body Mass Index). You can work yours out by clicking this link, http://www.dailymail.co.uk/pages/health/calculator.html?in_page_id=1774
If you have a BMI higher then 30, this indeed is worrying. Consultant Mr. Mazhar Rana of Darulshafa presents another factual show concentrating on this condition. Generally speaking, weight gain and obesity are caused by consuming more calories than the body needs most commonly by eating a diet high in fat and calories. However, the imbalance between calories consumed and calories burned can also be caused by a number of different obesity-related factors, including genetic, hormonal, behavioral, environmental and even cultural. If you find this or our other shows interesting and informative, please do rate and leave a comment. Thank you
