This was a well put together video. I have listened to Elton since I was 16 and I am now 51. I still have his posters in my computer room. This video makes you think of how lucky we are and how bad it can get.

Thank you, I didn't know anyone was still watching this video, I`m sad to say that I was like the man walking by the old boy in the black & white picture, just the look on his face. I`ve been a fan from about 1973/4, but didn't really get into him till about 1976 when i went out and got with my first pay packet goodbyb yellow brick rd. and that was it I was a fan. sometimes we don't see how lucky we are. anyway, Thank you again.

Thank you for your Kind words.its also my favorite song from this album. i bet the video you had in your head was Elton walking around rooms in his houses, something like that, when i first hear this song, its was " what the hell is all this about" then one day it was "oh , i get it its about the homeless" then someone posted on a web site saying its was about Eltons drug days and him sitting around his house.

The video you suggest is probably a little too obvious. Mine was about a beginning architect designing his first house, invisioning all the iconic designs studied in school (e.g. Fallingwater, Farnsworth House), thinkikng what it would be like living in each, and then coming up with his own design. This played off the reality of living in the less inspired surroundings that architectural interns often find themselves. What was I thinking...?!
