It's such a shame that Ringo Starr takes so much flack for seemingly no other reason than that he was not as incredible as the other Beatles. When compared to other drummers rather than to guitar players and singers, he stands as one of the best. Why does everyone say he was just lucky to have been in the Beatles? The Beatles were lucky to have him, as he was probably one of the only drummers out there who was good enough for them.

@ih8tbush it is so that ringo can add extra drum beats and solos to the song while the drum beat is still playing so that the other musicians can follow and not mess up. Phil Collins does the same.
