Calf Rescue Remote Location Ferdinand

my Friend Josh ( on qaud) and I were out scouting for spots,I was testing an iphone helmet cam mount, when I saw some ravens and Vultures near a known watering hole , I spotted a barley alive Bull calf, a Rouge Doggie ,prop still weaning next to Dead (for some time I might add) carcass of a cow Possibly his mother, This little guy had his mouth Eyes and ears shut from struggling for days, But those birds never touched him! did the cow though, Josh extracting him the the suction of the mud that is indescribable,he still had a little kick in em, but ut didnt last before he got cold we made the call to return to the truck near the road where there eould be cell service, we Were maybe 20 miles from any real road, Josh Put him up on the Quad and away we went!He was soaked and didnt mind the body heat as shock set in, By the time We made it to the truck ,he was shaking uncomfortably and having difficulty breathing, We did give him some water,He did It drink it, Then lose consciousness, I built him a little fire and took turns warming our coats over it and wrapping him with them, After a half hour, I do believe he came to liking this. The local animal control official came pretty quickly considering the location and that it was early Sunday eve ,He took the calf immediately to the Vet, 3 days later I heard that He was feeding and doing well, and might make a fine mascot. I love Animals and Back good ranchers.Notice NO rescue helicopter
