This new nifty system for the appreciation of comment is quite biased. Because someone choose to have a negative opinion about a show, angry fans of the said-show will spam his comment with bad marks.

It makes sense in the sense that you know it doesn't make sense.
Like, I never really understood that the two fighting "worlds" were separated by the grand stream until the end, and I wasn't really sure about the shape of their world until I read a synopsis, but throughout the whole series I was already completely aware that there was a lot that would go over my head.
Nevertheless, they should have tried pouring information from the capped final ep into the two previous ones.

hmm, well, I'm a huge fan of Last Exile, but i must say I can understand what he means. Unless you read a synopsis, the last episode really makes no sense. I do NOT think the show started going downhill after 4 episodes, though! It is a very well put together anime, they just tried to cram too much into the last episode.

I thought the first 4 episodes (on the first DVD) were superb but it all went downhill after a while and had a bad ending.

The story is about Claus's view on the war around him, and his drive through personal loss to the point of poverty to live through it and help end it. It is also Dio's story, in his will to become free from the constraints of a civilization that is rule strict and promotes war as a form of entertainment. However, he fails this, and him, like many others in the show, become replicas of their former selves, they look the same on the outside, but the war changes them all.

Beautifully done, I usually look down on AMVs but this one was done very well, and Sonata Arctica is awesome.
