Clip is taken from Yasha Aginsky's documentary "Cajun Visits". It is an AWESOME film I would HIGHLY recommend. Cajun accordionist Leopold. Full name is Leopold Francois. I do not know much about him. I know he was very talented, and gives a very candid interview. Here plays "Happy Hill Special" with Dewey Balfa in a back yard setting.

  • Just listen to the steady playing this elderly man plays. He's straining in his old age, but the sound and volume still exsist. The song is also awesome.

  • thank you so much for this

  • Damn, awesome video man, thank you for sharing! But I am frustrated because I really like the tune and it's the only time I listen to it... no way to found it anywhere else! So does anybody know if the tune can be named differently (very frequent with cajun tunes) in order to listen to the end of the tune?

  • Acadians + Cajuns = 2 lands, 2 flags, but one Nation!

we need to increase north-south interractions.

  • Cajun rules - thanks Leopold!

I also like listening to him speaking French.

  • Im from creole decent but i love these old videos about cajuns youd think youd here accordions all day where i live Mamou Louisiana but sadly those days are gone !!!!!!!

  • Don't he though!Man,I miss my Pop n Maw Maw...Thanks so much for these vids Scrambler!
