I'm going to hitchhike to Norway with my friend (we're Finnish). We'll try and get all the way to the Arctic Ocean :)

@Sami7685 In Norway that might mean being stuck in the middle of nowhere if you don't get a ride. It's easier to save energy and wait, rather than walk with nothing really to show for it.

@finnbjerke I hitchhiked almost the entire coastline of Norway, and on average I only waited half an hour for rides. I was even wearing camo, combat boots, I have a shaved head...etc. It was still easy! one of the best countries for it... But experiences differ, apparently.

Whereabouts was this? I hitched through Norway from Oslo, alllllll along the coast, up to the Lofoten islands, and then over to Narvik.

Norway is t he worst country in Europe for hitchhiking, Norwegans are not very social, in fact they hate intruders

Gotta walk with your thumb in the air, that way, if you don't get picked up for an hour, at least you'll be around 6 miles closer to your destination.
