hate to say it but they were most likley misinformed christians thinking this was part of satanism which is false. cats are dedicated to through the wiccan majick, the cats may be guardians invoked by them to serve as the protector. and they didn't burn the cats alive when it died naturally they held a ritual for it.

I'm neutral about the paranormal,etc.It's akin to agnosticism.Thing is,though,I seem to draw cats(as well as snakes).If I go for a walk after dark they come out from all over and follow me in small groups.I've had black cats cross me several times,though unusually good things seem to happen after.I tend to think there's some mundane explanation,though I don't think I smell like sardines.I grab and play with snakes all the time,never been bitten.

my dad was driving home one night he used to have to drive by killakee most nights and said he nearly crashed the car when he had to brake as i huge black cat walked out on the road then ran back into masseys woods
