Read "Confessions of an economic hit-man" by John Perkins.
He was directly involved with brokering the deals that lead to these oil companys entering Ecuador, It covers how the corporates bullied the governments into bowing down to their operations with no regulation and to the corruption and threats that were involved.

And yes of course chevron made this video or at least contracted someone to do all the lying on their behave.

do they want to make how many more lives and untouched landscapes to they need to destroy. People working for these corporations should be ashamed seriously!!!!!
Such a bias video to make matter even worse and denying the absolute truth.

Such liars... I cant believe corporations such as Texaco/Cevron are completely destroying everything in their way not even the Amazon is wholly enough just to satisfy their addition to money and monopoly . How can people who work for such corporation feel at night knowing that they are killing hundreds of people innocent people who just want to live in peace, killing already endangered species and destroying the lungs of the earth. Where will this obsessional behavior stop how much more money

Hey zl1vette-your precious Chevratt is currently pissing 700,000 gallons of toxic produced water EVERY DAY into a once pristine bay in Alaska, why don't you take your hateful rhetoric and stick it where the sun don't shine-you probably own stock and don't give a rat's ass about anyone else but your own worthless hide. Sorry, but you ARE going to pay up!

What a useless bias video....

@zl1vette427 Before you can comment about this case you need to educate your self about the role that Texaco and chevron played on the environment in Ecuador, PetroEcuador took charge in 1990 but Texaco-chevron has been in Ecuador since 1964, The lawyers are also suing Petroecuador but the party that is responsible for the damages in the region is Chevron. The benefits of cleaning the amazon region is not only for Ecuador but for the world, read about the amazon region and its impact intheworld

You have a banana republic which thought it was Big Man On Campus, kicking out Texaco and thinking they were smart enough to run a complex industry like oil. They polluted their own country and now want American shareholders and taxpayers to pay for their own stupidity. Sorry, we're not paying.

This was made for Chevron stakeholders. They were the ones that developed this video. The channel shouldn't be called EcuadorWatch but ChevronWatch. Damned multinational corporations in less developed countries are just in our country to exploit our resources and leave a mess. It's sad becuase I know that this comment will probably be deleted.

Chevron asked to move the case to Ecuador thinking was going to be soon forgotten. Time to pay rats!
chevron probably made this video

I am ecuadorian and I know about this case (but I am not involved with it). I can say that you are not reflecting the truth in this documentary. You say that all the enviromental problem in our Amazon responds to the obsolete equipment of Petroecuador: thats not true. Petroecuador maybe have some responsability, but for decades, during its operations, Texaco spills a very large amount of toxic waters and oil on our rivers and soil.
