Spotting at NAS Oceana
Naval Air Station Oceana
Virginia Beach, Virginia
Thursday September 16, 2010

IN THIS VIDEO, this is not your usual spotting video from NAS Oceana. The first part of the video will feature a host of Super Hornets and Hornets in the approach for Runway 23R. All of the Hornets and Super Hornets are from VFA-106. You will also see the Blue Angels take to the skies to do their checkpoint marking, as well as a practice show performance. Fat Albert also takes to the skies and flies a practice performance. Afterwards, you will see some arrivals into 23R as they are airshow related arrivals.

Pardon the size of the video, as I'm experimenting with an aspect ratio of 16:9.

If you are interested in purchasing DVDs of specific aircraft and/or of airshows, interested in anything and everything related to airshows (where the jet teams will show up, all airshow performers, airshow reports from airshows I have attended, previews of airshows I will be attending, etc.), a much more easier to navigate "version" of all of my videos, and/or everything there is related to aviation - including spotting guides to my favorite airports and military bases and aircraft factfiles, please take the time to check out Steve's Airshow World at http://www.stevesairshow.com .
