Yes she is my mother. She passed away last year. I found that "The Linfords" also recorded it on a "Simply Christmas" CD they put out in 2009.

That is just beautiful. One of my favorite Christmas songs, it's very touching. They never play it on the radio anymore, I don't think it's on itunes, either. Thank you for posting....Merry Christmas!

this has become my favorite Christmas song. I first heard it on an unnamed tape,i think maybe the singer was Carrol Roberson. this one is grand.
