    how come in the first couple of shots, you the crew and skip are in the middle of the boat. it looks like its pitching forward a little. i sail 420 sow going down wind is different.

  • Thank you for your question. The hull shape is what we call a "wave piercing bow" I dont think that I have to explain more what this means.... In light wind condition this position is the fastest way to make and maintain speed with the Cat.

  • @greycars it ensures that the stern is out of the water and produces less turbulence and drag. It's faster. Especially in light winds.
