@icl4ntic Hahah, its ok, theres no wrong or right when its comes to creating the sound that you want! everyone has there own method, thats what makes everyone music producer unique rather than going around copying every tom dick and harry ! ill take ure advice into consideration anyway !

@montyladd Yea, the compressor thing. Not having your leads overpower the volume of the kicks helps as well. Turning everything down except your kick and trimming the envelope of the kick to taste can start to make it sound big. I usually keep my kicks in a sampler for more editing options from a drum machine. Disclaimer: I am not an audio engineer or professional in any way shape form taste smell or manner. :p I may be writing completely useless stuff.
