Edmunds Inside Line uses the new Sync Services app while on the road with a 2010 Ford Taurus Limited. Sync Services uses your cell phone signal (via a Bluetooth connection) to provide navigation assistance.

everything is going to have a few bugs when it first comes out. Things like this take years not months to get right. If you have patience, you will get used to it and all will be well. If you are someone who gets mad at the smallest thing, then don't buy the car and take it out on Ford.

She is not speaking loud enough. I went to a dealer and tried it out and everything that I said was recognized by the system. I even said weird cities like she is saying. You need to speak loudly and clearly and it will work perfectly. I have a friend with a chevy and Onstar does the same thing.

keep in mind guys, SYNC Services doesn't use SYNCs voice software. Services is a seperate program accessed by you're mobile phone from SYNC, hence some of the lag you get with the response time. SYNC on the other hand has state of the art recognition software built in and doesn't need to be trained. I have it in my '09 Fusion and works amazing and i used to work for Ford so i know the system inside and out. It really is an amazing system.
