  • Am I seeing a grainy image on the right? The image and the colors on the left look a lot better.

  • @tecnocato The camera takes away from the quality of the ShowWX+. Yes, the DLP projector is a bit "smoother" in appearance. The laser speckle does take away from the sharpness a bit. As for colors, the ShowWX+ actually has more saturated colors.

  • what is that nbar that keeps running down the screen on the show

  • @click411 The ShowWX+ uses a scanned laser with a refresh rate of 60Hz. The scrolling bar is simply an artifact of my camera and the projector having different scan rates. This is NOT seen in person.

  • @Picopros one more question please. Does this hook up to a computer via vga or usb port or just for ipod and hor long does lamp last

  • @click411 The ShowWX requires the purchase of the VGA Dock accessory to connect to a computer. The USB connection is for charging the unit. To connect to an Apple device, you use the included adapter cable.

The new device from MicroVision - ShowWX+ HDMI - can connect direct to a laptop via HDMI without the need for the VGA dock. It also maintains all the other connectivity to Apple devices

  • just purchased showwm 10 lumen thought it will beat any dlp in sharpness, color, but i was wrong but still happy with forcus free and got it with vga dock cheaper than dlp so I'm still happy

  • i wonder how it would look like if u you layer them one over another

  • @Picopros Thanks. I imagine, as seen at the begining, that the laser projector does a great job with static images (i.e. presentations).

  • lasers give off speckly light

  • lasers are super bright... you'd think it would be super bright light laser pens
