man Moore is so unlucky with tornadoes. its been hit by four tornadoes in the past decade, and all four were damaging. even worse, some parts of Moore were still rebuilding from a tornado from the previous October, if i remember correctly.

If the Moore tornado had hit joplin, more than 2,000 people would have perished.

Is Montrose in Del City near Sooner Rd.,/Tinker AFB? The area wasn't entirely destroyed, several new homes and some original homes stand side-by-side in the neighborhood now.

Mos the the damage and deaths are attributed to the one F5 the touched down that day.

this is soooo sad, my family is from norman and said the public storm shelters were all full so they had to keep lookin while the tornado was comin

Anyone have footage of Montrose Street in Del City? Lived there back in 1973 and understand it was all gone....
