Nice truck, I have the same truck and ESC, only I'm running a hobbyking 2370kv motor and 2 6 cell 4200mah nimh batteries.

@victorm316 great! I cant wait to see it run + include please some details like the savage weight, batteries used( voltage and capacity), average runtime on those batteries, gear ratio and motor temperature... it is quite a lot but it would help not just me but many other people to have these basic facts together in 1 place! Thanks!

turnigy esc can only handle 60 amps that motor puts out more than 60 amps thats why it blew up

Thanks for letting me know

Hi what are temps of the 2560 motor during running? And what is its top speed in the e-maxx and average runtimes? Thanks! I would like to put the same motor into the savage.

Actually my friend put the turnigy trackstar in his savage. Which was nitro at one point. It runs great. If you want I'll make a video on it . Battery life lasts a while. And the truck flys. I will post a video on the review and a run.

Sorry I ment to say did you have to do any thing to the differentials

@4acewin
Yes I did. When I first put the brushless motor in. The first 5 min I blew the stock differentials. It can not handle the brushless. So what I did was I went on ebay and bought the e-maxx 3908 brushless Differential. They sell the whole box for $20. I bought 2. For the rear and front. So thats what I did. And I highly recommend doing that
