Passing Time - Flowers Spring of 2009

I've been trying to go out and take photos just about every day over the past few months. Recently I've been taking lots of flower photos. Here are just some of them that I thought were interesting. I've taken a great many wildlife photos and scenic shots as well and I'll try to get them posted in the next few weeks.

It's all part of me trying to better myself both in photography and in health. Once again I've begun the process to quit smoking. Not just because the price of cigarette have gone up but because of my health. Each day my friend Mike and myself go walking though the local parks. Usually for about an hour. During that time I take the photos you see here. It's good exercise for me and to be honest, I can't think of a better way to spend my time while walking!

Thank you. I'm going out today with Mike to take more photos since the sun is out again. I've been playing around with my camera a lot lately and I hope the next set of photos will be much sharper than these. I have been taking my pics in jpeg mode and they look good but I am going to take them in raw mode from now on because the raw images are much sharper. Hope all is well with you and that you're keeping warm this frosty winter!
