the problem is in the software (firmware) of your mobile not your cell phone. cell phone is pretty much ok! you need to go to some mobile shop and ask them to update or reinstall your firmware, or just connect to nokia pc suite and update your software, this might help i guess :)

The thought had crossed my mind but one day the phone stopped booting at all. I couldn't do anything else than go to the local Nokia dealer and send it to service. All Nokia did was replace my phone and didn't tell me what the problem had been. The new phone I got has worked perfectly (so far) :)
Hmmm... No idea, never encountered that problem.

I had this very same problem with my E52 last summer when it was hot, and I often kept the phone in the fridge so it wouldn't crash. But during the fall, winter and spring it works just fine. But I will get a new phone before this summer appears for sure, not gonna experience this again.

@burkmat Okay, nice to know I'm not the only one who has experienced this! I am very disappointed. In my opinion a phone in this prize range should not have any problems like this. :/

@Leyphaen There's a thread about it on Nokias forum here; discussions.mea.nokia.com/t5/Eseries-and-Communicators/E52-overheating-issues/td-p/725909
