The 21th First Annual Ig Nobel Prize Ceremony

The 2011 Ig Nobel Prize Ceremony took place on Thursday, September
29th at Sanders Theater, Harvard University, Cambridge, Massachusetts.
Ten (10) prizes were awarded. The winners have all done something
that first makes people LAUGH and then makes them THINK.

The Nobel Prizes have been, and continue to be, awarded in Sweden. The Ig Nobel Prizes have always been awarded in Cambridge, Massachusetts. These two award ceremonies are not the same thing.
