This is a pathetic modernization. All of the fixtures are cracked around the outside and it has controller glitches.

  • ThyssenKrupp ISIS: The Toyota of Elevators.

  • @georgef551 or GM or Chrysler, as we found out now!

  • @TheElevatorChannel

At least they have brakes, and steering. They're not extras like later Toyotas. :P

  • @georgef551 lol!

  • You should have called it a Krappy Mod. Did you film the 50's OTIS down the hall, by any chance?

  • @jimster586 Yes I did, I'm going to upload it tomorrow.

  • And all you can see in the elevator display is the "EP" message. Oh, yeah, almost forgot... it has a TERRIBLE ride quality (its noisy, it bounces in some cases and even has its capacity rate reduced).

  • You really don't know what is a Kruppy modernization at its best! It almost always gets hits the upper shaft-end switches!

  • @suzzex You can tell by the lantern and the floor indicator (previous)

  • This rant is great, but the video afterward is an anticlimax! Still laugh every time at "THESE BUTTONS ARE ALL CRACKED!"

  • Might have been a Dover.

  • ThyssenKrapp

  • @jimster586 This is still better than a crummy CRAPCO modernization!

  • Standard: Cracked buttons, glitched in-car lantern chimes, sticky buttons, controller viruses

    Optional:

Buttons that actually do the right thing: $5000

    Proper lanterns: $400

    Anti-virus software: $2,000,000

Compulsion to have ThyssenKrupp NOT modernize this elevator: Priceless

  • This is 100% ThyssenKrapp!
