Grandmothers kitchen. This song is written from the perspective of an 8 year old boy in my grandmothers (Francis Virginia Deaver Dennis) kitchen in the spring of 1968, on Refugio St in Fort Worth Texas.

This is my grandma and my grandpa. Maybe it is as close to me as you can get.

Sonny I always picked my friends based on their kindness to others. So now at long last I have gathered a few real friends along the way, some old friends like you and I and some new. Non seem to be powerful or wealthy but each is very influential to the people they come in contact with every day. I love you too. But the concept of mowing with a segway begs refinement as for now the vibration of the mower & rolling along eventually translates into..... lower back pain. :-)
