  • or the place that they're in is slightly tilted to make it look like it's going uphill but it's really going down =)

  • This demonstration shows the effects of lowering of centre of mass creating the rolling up a slope optical effect!

    This is because as it moves up the slope, its centre of mass effectively move from a position of higher potential to a position of lower potential.

    Still don't understand?

    Ask yourself this question, why does this ball fall lower? It is because the ball is moving from a position of higher potential to a position of lower potential.

    Same reason here!!

  • yeah, the weight is pushing it down and at that slight of an angle the slope is lesser than the force of the objects weight, gravity
