I'm a West High School Alumni (class of 03) and it doesn't surprise me that these teachers did not take the student's side, they never did when I went there. One of my assistant principals suspend someone for getting slapped by another student. Then there was the teacher who stole money from the class of 02, so she could go on their senior class trip to Hawaii.

Im not an expert on this, but I think only a small percentage of schools have police officers in them. Ive never seen a police officer on campus, and the closest it came to was a cop patrolling the park outside the school where all the stoners would hang out.
