you people need to stop spitting fetid crap out of your mouths. this game is not on the same category as eve. they are both space games, so what? means nothing. I have only played the eve trial, and that is enough to be able to tell the enormours difference between the two.

Player count is NOT size. Also the average age of Eve players way higher than WoW. I'd rather have a few clever people to play with than a lot of muppet kids screaming chocolate milk. WoW also only has 30,000 players per server max, Eve has (as I'm typing this) 42,018 so you kind of shot yourself in the foot there.
Also, lol at -2 on my POSITIVE comment on JGE.

Dog fights, between you and other players or you and the AI or both is Jumpgate. Jumping through the gates is a ...bit... like stargate but faster, there is no transition. One moment your in sector Vorl's Rift and the next your in another. For snazzy launch effects you'll have the station launch sequences.

as long as you can go into cockpit view and actually "fly" the ship... that's what is missing in EVE IMO, the 3rd person view and not being able to directly control the ship got old after a while

1st person AND 3rd person will be in JGE guaranteed, with stick, mouse, Keyboard or gamepad. Load, launch, lock and rock.
