It's a cool effect, but I just wish it would have stayed mostly within the techno genre.
Only 5% of the pop songs today that use this are legitimately good, because they aren't hiding behind this effect, but rather using it as a means to improve an existing song.
The other 95% of songs ARE BEATING THIS COOL MACHINE TO DEATH.
It's beginning to remind me of some cheesy, long-lost 6 hour dance party episode of 1980's Star Trek.
