On a non-servo drum brake system with the wheel cylinder located at the top of the backing plate the front shoe is the "leading" and the rear show is the "trailing". You identified them as "primary" and "secondary". Primary and secondary are the names of the shoes in servo brake systems. Additionally, the self adjuster mechanism on the brake system you have in your video is actuated by the parking brake lever, not by braking in reverse. Some do adjust in reverse, but not this one.
Great video, thank you!
