I used 30% Glycolic acid and 20% Salicylic acid for a combination peel. This is also known as a Alpha Beta Peel.
BENEFITS OF ALPHA BETA HYDROXY COMBINATION SKIN PEELS
Salicylic acid loosens and removes aged cells, oil and debris attached to the skins surface reducing future breakouts
Salicylic acid is oil-soluble and lipophillic so it penetrates follicles deep down that contain sebum, exfoliating, cleaning and removing the impurities responsible for clogged pores
Enhances new skin cell production and promotes collagen formation creating a healthy glow on the surface of your skin
Regenerates skins appearance for a beautifully polished texture and renewed Vibrancy!
Glycolic Acid reduces the appearance of scars much better then any creams or lotions available over the counter
Evens out texture and smoothes wrinkled skin
Glycolic simply polishes away dry dead skin cells, revealing new skin below
Salicylic is excellent for Wart Removing
Both are great for improving damaged skin caused by the sun or other UV light damage
Salicylic will control acne breakouts, blackheads, and decrease the amount of redness associated with pimples
Use of salicylic and glycolic will result in an increase of the absorption of lotions, treatments, and other cosmetic products

  • hi i just wanted to say that i think you are pretty. Im however curious about the reason why you are using any peel. your skin seems already perfect. Did you have any dark spots from acne or hyperpigmentation that you wanted to address and dit it hep actually remove it or was it just a way to freshen up your skintone?

  • @VALENNEA I have some dark spots from acne that I am using the peels to get rid of. Also the peels give me a really good exfoliation that leaves my skin smooth and shiny. :)

  • I'm defintely interested in this, There isn't much info here on Youtube on peels for AA skin.. I'm wondering how much was this?

  • @Mzrougepoupee like 30 bucks a bottle

  • So how long did you leave it on before rinsing?

  • can you mix the two acids together and then apply it rather than just applying one on top of another?

  • @hairfashionmom 10% isnt really going to do much for you, but its a good starting point

  • Can this be applied on the neck shoulders and back?

  • Would have been great if you did a before and after for comparison.

  • what product line did you use for the salicylic?

  • Did the salicylic burn morea than the glycolic? I am going to do a 10% glycolic peel soon, any tips I should know? I have very light skin with some freckles. Thanks:)

  • do you still use these products and if so how often?

  • Hi

Where can I buy these products?

    Regards

    Bel

  • Is there any difference by changing the order of appliance?
