Error: Cannot Open C:\Recovery.dat

This is why I've been sans computer for the past while,
and why you've been sans video for the past while.
I figured out the problem, I just had to delete the recovery partition, this problem will only happen if you're upgrading Windows. If it defaults to this screen when you really need it fixed, go into BIOS (easy process) and change the default setting to boot from disk...

@lucasusual I FIGURED IT OUT!!! Boot on DVD

Choose your language and everything else

Then choose the "repair" menu

Choose "command prompt"

Type bootsect.exe

Type bootsect /nt60 ALL

Click X

Remove CD

Reboot

There you go!
