Our job is to listen to how people feel, and not take it as discounting, though it may feel that way. We don't have a choice but to experience this feeling, which may or may not be relevant to the feelings of others. I'm an "American" of Polish and Irish ancestry. I politically support the idea of the indigenous peoples of the continent completely reclaiming their homeland and revitalizing their cultures, just as my ancestors fought to reclaim Poland and Ireland. My main problem is, relocating to Poland wouldn't be very feasible as I don't speak a word of Polish.
