From 70's funk to 90's rock the versatile sound of the Dixon Outlaw series snare drum has been a winner. Recored at Inner Space Sound Labs, best watched in HD to appreciate the sound, product manager Jim Stanek gives a brief demo.

  • Versatlity!??? This is one superficial video! I own Dixon Artisan maple solid shell (same size as this), but it really provides veraitility. But, there are so much tuning scenarios (low, mid, high tuning of both heads and also tension of snare vires). Here are shown 1.5 tuning types and the drum is so ringy and crancked that it becomes iritating. Where is fat, deep sound of 70-is and 80-is?
