My Church in huntsville, AL has a Latin Mass every Sunday. It is very beautiful and I am so happy to have found it- the "new" Mass seems very flippant to me and I love being able to wear my traditional headcovering withouyt feeling like a throw back. So yes, there still Extraordinary Masses in the USA.

Unfortunately, in the USA, Chatholic mass is no done in Latin; only in English.

I will start by saying I am an atheist. Having said that, listening to Catholic chants makes me WANT to believe. I have always wanted to hear a Latin Mass, but want to reserve the experience to a real cathedral. Listening to this live at Notre Dame has to be one of the all-time great experiences in anybody's life. I regularly listen to early sacred Christian chants, as I find it to be one of the most deep, beautiful, and relaxing things I can do.

Notre Dame de Paris is probably the most beautiful place in the world. It's impossible to spend enough time there, enjoying the atmosphere and just the indescribably beauty of the whole thing. It's like entering a different dimension. There's no place in the world that makes me feel quite the same. I adore it.

This is the great church in Paris. The Obama Affair happened at Notre Dame University, Indiana. Different continents.
