I show you how to create a .WMV preset for Camtasia Studio.

All you need:
-Windows Media Encoder 9-series (32bit or 64bit)
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/forpros/encoder/default.mspx
-Camtasia Studio 6 FullVersion
-Basic knowledge about video editing and handling of windows

  • The Windows Media Video format is BS. I always use XviD or avi / AVC and mp3 for the audio. You get the same result , but with much smaller video size. I also use the ffdshow encoder pack it's brilliant. I use VirtualDub for editing and for compressing my raw Fraps video. I prefer too keep it simple soo I only use Sony Vegas Pro if I really need it. Camtasia Studio is the best desktop recorder no doubt about that.
