Love Song from Pippin on piano

Love Song duet on piano from the musical "Pippin" by Stephen Schwartz.

I think this is a great piece of music and I've tried hard to play in a 'flowing' and 'romantic' way! In my rendition I've played just 2 bars of introduction.

This piece also has the greatest number of time signature changes in one piece that I can recall playing with 3/2, 3/4, 4/4, 3/2, 4/4, 3/4 and 7/8 in the first 10 bars - that's a change almost every bar! I am reluctantly acknowledging that I have made 2 rhythm mistakes that I will go fix but I think this performance can be enjoyed in its own right.

You are really talented. My school is about to do a production of Pippin and I love this song.  How long did it take you to learn to play like that? Maybe you could try adding vocals in too.

Hi Julia, thanks for your kind words. Good luck with the production. I started out with a keyboard about 7 years ago aged 24 (quite old really!). I could sing in my teens but I wouldn't subject youTubers to my voice now!
