In 1981 I played bass guitar in Jesse Kelsa & the Core. The band toured mostly Florida. The photos in the slide show were taken at The Candy Store,
Fort Lauderdale - The Agora Ballroom, Hollywood - Level III, Orlando - Andy's Steak House, Naples. The bands line up was, Che' Daniels on keyboard, Steve Hallahan on guitar and vocals, Steve "Buzzy" Miller on drums, Jesse Kelsa fronted the band and also played guitar and vocals and me Frank Cordaro bass guitar.
OK, to add to it, the lineup was Jesse, Che, Steve Friedman, Don Coyer, and Dickie Bush. Andys was a dive, but one of the most fun places, I miss those day.

I was in this band in 83, when we did a couple of shows with Sly Stone. I quit because we were working at Andy's 7 nights a week and after a year of that, I'd had enough for awhile. Che went off with Sly, I was asked to join his band, but went back to West Palm, where I'd moved. I still have some tapes of the band somewhere.

A friend of mine says to me one day you have to come listen to this band - they have a Doors set and they sound just like 'em. They were playing at Andy's "Stake" House in Naples ( that's the way to spell it ) Just Amazing - they played Springsteen's "Because the Night" back then too - me and my girl would dance every night - must have been around for a few years 80 - 82 - heard them one night at Hooligan's in Hollywood - well thanks for bringing back some great memories - Johnny "The Heat"
