i am 18 years old and i own a 1972 Chevelle Malibu..my obsession wiht the chevelle started at 15. seeing this vid makes me a very very proud owner of the Chevelle.

yes! i own an original 1970 chevelle ss454 (was a TEXAS car) with the original numbers matching LS5 under the hood. little bolt on modifications on the motor but the m21 tranny,diff, suspension is pretty much stock (apart the polyurethane bushings)!

and i own a 1989 chevy iroc-z camaro with a 472 small block with a tremec t-56 6 speed. that one is a real sleeper :)

but owning and driving a chevelle is on of a kind:) even if my camaro has more hp even if it handles better than the chevelle but it cant give the feeling of a real MUSCLE CAR like my chevelle:)

@gvibes69 your joking right?one of the greatest turbo car ever is the buick Gran national or T type,a V6 turbo with over 225 hp stock and over 300 lbs of torque, it is one of the fastest factory cars ever made. So for your info many muscle car makers at the time started to Develop Small block and big block turbos but weren't approved by GM or the other leaders because of the massive amount of horse power and boost. Search up OLDSMOBILE engineers .they mastered the Twin turbo before you were born

Ok yall think it's the best i think not I'll keep it in the GM family cause i think fords and mopar should all fall off the map. BUT the 442 Olds would run down or surpass a Chevelle. THATS MY STORY AND I'm STICKING WITH IT!!!

@MARYVALE12 I'm 17 with a '67 Malibu car. I converted it to a big block that I made myself. It was just a rolling chassis when I got it.

1st, I know that Pontiac is no more. But like Gibson also stoped to produce the fab Les Paul guitars. But the guitar fans wanted it back. And so Gibson did. I don't know, but I am sure of that if GM start to relaunch a Pontiac GTO (only that model diff. engines) then it will be a success. It's important that the basic model will not be so expensive (I buy that one). It's the same with the Chevelle of those years. The design is awesome! We just wait and see. GM has a new CEO from September 2010.
