@gomikeygomikey You think the idea is false? Reality says otherwise. It would be great if the US was like the old west, didn't have many homicides at all...Lots of bear maulings, but not homicides. Disarming the people though? Great idea, so great people like Mao,Hitler,Pol Pot, and stalin got behind it 100%

@PfhUkJiu101 Well, 48% of all violent crime in the US can be directly traced to gangs (leaving out what can't be traced)...you know...gang members who aren't allowed to legally own a gun, but don't follow the law? For example, in LA, well over 50% of homicides are gang related -- in a state with some of the strictest and most unintelligently written gun laws in the country. In Bakersfield, CA, they cause over 85% of all homicides. That's why the murder rate is so damn high.

Look at gun shows and gun free zones as a microcosm of how gun control works or not. I may be wrong but I've never heard of gun violence at a gun show. There are guns everywhere along with ammo and people who know how to use them. Yet, I here all the time about gun violence happening in gun free zones. Again, a microcosm. Now multiply it out to an entire nation like unto a gun show or gun free zone. Which would you rather have?
