    Because of this, the communism was called the dictatorship of the proletariat. The intellectuals were marginalized because they were too dangerous to Communist ruling class. As you know, the modern society can not advance without intellectuals.That's the story of the failling communism.

    My friend, let me tell you something, the socialist / communist governments had no bad intentions for the population, the big mistake was they didn't respect the intellectuals.One of the communist slogan was " Everyone have the right to have a job, everyone have the right to free education, everyone have the right to have a family and a house". It's ok with these rights, but, they forgot one thing: a scientist, an engineer, a doctor or an IT expert deserve more than that.Plus, some free speech.

    Even if your anecdotal analogy was even close to reality (20% is a large number to generalize about) and I am by no means conceding that it is, putting the fast food industry aside, what about entry level positions in general? With small businesses? It sounds like you are of the opinion that Obama is getting heat that he doesn't deserve. Do you think his Keynesian approach has benefited the economy?

    Well you had one thing right in that post, "i dont know", but then you went back offa the rails again. I asked you before, what is greed? Do you really thing "lobbyists" are suppressing wages? You've repeated the shallow generalization about "strong consumers" several times now, what do you understand about the free market. Why shouldnt the govt raise the minimum wage to 20 bucks an hour? Its a fair question.

    "OK then, why doesnt the gov just raise ENTRY LEVEL MINIMUM PAY" i don't know...probably pressure from short sighted business lobbyists who think lower wages are a good way to keep up profits (even though the reality is strong consumers make for strong business).

    "tells you to think", (smh) More smug ad hominems, conjecture and complete disregard for any presented argument. "strong economies are built on strong consumers". OK then, why doesnt the gov just raise ENTRY LEVEL MINIMUM PAY to 20 bucks an hour, wouldn't that strengthen consumers even more? Why not 30?

    It's hard to walk into any McDonald's and not get a job, even if you barely speak English. Teens simply don't want to flip burgers when they can ask mom and dad for a few extra bucks here and there.

    And when mom and dad tells the kid they won't give allowance anymore, the kid uses the fail safe excuse- "How am I supposed to find a job in this horrible economy and job market? It's Obama's fault, now slip me a $20 I'm going to the mall."

    {cont2} solutions are always better than public/social/govt solutions, but you cannot point to states like USSR as evidence (against social states, when it was never a true socialist state to begin with).

    "There are no comparisons between societies that will yield insight without examining each one, in depth, individually" whatever...the truth is there's no major differences between any of the 1st world nations (including USA) that means we cant compare stats like crime rates. You're in denial.

    {cont} "What value does "intentions" play in manipulating a wartorn Romanov society of people in a popularity contest? hey dude, you're the one making statements like "the potential tyranny that has historically ensued when those boundaries are breached by "compassionate" INTENSIONED myrmidons"...i was just pointing out there never was any "compassionate" intention in any of these supposed 'socialized' states...they were dictatorships from the very beginning. You were arguing private {cont2}
