Lakitu: I confess I have never had someone tell me "officially" how to say it, but since this game comes from Japan, the name would be a romanization of Japanese, so if we follow that for pronunciation you would end up with "rah-key-tsu."

Americans usually drop the either the "S" or "T" sound when Japanese words with "tsu" get romanized, while Japanese does not actually have the "too" sound or an "L" sound, and the "R" sound is lighter than the American hard "R."

I always pronounce it Luh-Key-Too, but I think it's laka-too. But I always pronounced it Luh-Key-Too so I'm going to still call it that.
