Devil May Cry 1 - Mission 3 - Normal Difficulty - S Rank

Woo, S rank!

Took one hit, but I would have gotten damageless if I didn't attract another Sargasso.

I orb farmed a lot in preparation for Mission 3, simply because the first time I tackled Mission 3 I was stuck on Phantom for a long time. I had NO abilities to help me fight Phantom properly, as I had maybe 2000 red orbs prior to Mission 3. I kept resetting because I was getting hit too much. The only thing that helped me even a bit was Air Raid, but I had 4 DT runes and no way to easily gain them back other than taunting. Now I can confidently take him down, for the first time.

With 6700+ red orbs, I bought 3 blue orbs, 2 purple orbs, Stinger and Stinger v2, and Air Raid. Just what I needed to kill Phantom with ease.

Orb farmed in Mission 2. Even though DMC1 doesn't have a mission select, that's not stopping you from saving your progress and restarting in a previous mission to get orbs.

Great vid i remebered the first time i fought the phanthom i didn't kno how to beat him . Then after like 20 tries i figured it out and won. Btw can u add commentary saying tips and stuff like that casue u made me want to play the dmc series again>

I tried to speedrun as Super Dante through this stage and still managed only a B-Rank. I cleared it in like 3 mins. or so but I had a full bar of health when it was over. Why didn't I get S?
