Andreas Moritz lists the surprising leading causes of heart attacks and heart disease. He shares his treatments for healing heart problems.
Raena Morgan: Heart disease is the leading cause of death in the Western world. What are some of the contributing factors?
Andreas Moritz: You could call them causative factors.
RM: Causative factors.
AM: There are many causative factors. There are simple things like stress; most people are not told that. There is a study that has proven, it's a repeated study, it showed that the leading cause of heart attack is actually job satisfaction and happiness rating, how happy you are and how happy you are at home and how happy you are at work-
RM: Affects your heart?
AM: -can affect your heart. Fifty percent of all heart attacks occur without any signs of occlusion, no occlusion whatsoever in the blood vessel walls.
RM: No hardening of the arteries?
AM: Nothing.
RM: Fifty percent?
AM: Fifty percent. So that's a huge chunk of heart attacks.
RM: Yes.
AM: So that is sometimes underemphasized that actually the single most leading cause of heart disease is stress, that means you're not happy. If you are not happy, you are stressed.
RM: Okay.
AM: So how you respond to pressures at home or at work, how unhappy you are with your spouse, that is a leading one. And they found that people who had heart attacks, the ones that survived the heart attacks were the ones that felt they were loved by a very close person like their spouse; and if their spouses didn't love them, they didn't feel loved, then even a mild attack killed them; and the massive attacks, they survived them if they thought their wives loved them. So again there are major determining factors, you know, whether you-
RM: It's so sad, though.
AM: It is. It is, but it puts the power back in your court.
RM: It does.
AM: So there are certain things you can do about how you decide to live your life. Do you want to have a very high paying job that is very stressful, or a lower paying job with less stress, more time for yourself, more time for your kids? They found that if you play with your kids and pets, it lowers your risk dramatically of having a heart attack. So simple things, the blood pressure goes down. And these are studies, so it's not anything that's just hearsay or anecdotal; they are actually studying these kind of things. Then there's again the protein factor. From what I've experienced over the many years that I've dealt with people with heart attacks and heart disease where I had people coming with occluded blood vessels and they had a heart attack and they were ready to, you know, they were close to another one, the doctor said you'll likely to develop another heart episode, and I put them on a vegan vegetarian diet, I removed all protein foods from their diet, after six to eight weeks their occlusions in the blood vessels disappeared, and they didn't have the heart attack. I had people that were on the heart transplant list that were just waiting for a heart, for a new heart.
RM: Just waiting for a new heart.
AM: Their energy levels were so low that they couldn't perform even the simplest of tasks, like getting up from a chair tired them tremendously, and so congested heart failure and other issues that made their life so miserable that they'd rather preferred not to-

Too Much Cardio-vascular Effort from Too Much Sport is also BaD...it can cause very easy Bradycardia......this means that the Heart Gets Slower......so Enough Sport can Set Up the Heart
Even Healthy Food with Not Doing any kind of Sport/Movement/Physical Activity......in my opinion is Worthless
