Frank Stanton (of CBS)
January 26, 1972
019-112
White House Telephone

President Richard Nixon calls Frank Stanton of CBS to ask him to thank all the technicians who worked on Nixon's recent television Christmas special, interview with Dan Rather, and speech on Vietnam. He has great praise for their professionalism, and he also wants the owner of CBS, Bill Paley, to know about his appreciation for their work. They very briefly mention Nixon's upcoming historic trip to China.
