My Brother-in-law Matt and I, went on a week-long hike to a remote backpacking camp in California's Sierra Mountains. I tried to share the "spirit" or "essence" of the place by mixing pictures with some of my favorite classical music. I hope you can feel the spirit there, like I did. Brian.

@raen714 Hi Rachel,
Glad you got a chance to see it. I often get teased or even criticized for putting "Opera" music in my videos. But it's Opera and Classical music that gives me the strongest emotional impact. I had to share it with you, because as always, only we Classical lovers understand eachother! Thanks for watching and commenting! Brian.

Very beautiful music with beautiful scenes of nature! It looks like you were having a great time. I didn't realize that rushing water, even only a couple inches deep, can be so powerful and dangerous.
Your videos are not only entertaining, but always very educational too. Thank you for sharing your experience with us!

@EmeraldxFairy Oh, thank-you for watching! I value your comments. : )
Yes, I was surprised by how powerful the water was! Sometimes my feet and staff would go backwards in the flow of water instead of downwords towards the earth. It was so much fun, I'm glad you enjoyed it too. Brian.

Wow, so beautiful. I knew this was going have some gorgeous scenes.
I have to tell you Bri, your video's really make me step back and appreciate this beautiful world around us. The raging river and the words, spectacular.
*Waves* and the music here, stunning only to add to this beauty.♥ love the sound of the running water off the tiny falls and your exquisite film of the butterfly.
Very calming and serene. Quite lovely. Thank you for your great outdoor videos!

@JoSieLove2Sing4u Ahhh. lt's easy to post videos for other "Artists" like you. With a poet's heart, you get the butterfly scene, and feel it's magic. Whereas others may only pass it over and feel it was odd. Likewise the music. Thank you for your appreciation. It validates my work! : )

Brian...what an amazing video!
The natural beauty of that place alone makes it very intense. But your choice of music just adds to that, Andrea Bocelly works surprisingly well with all your nature shots. And there is a moment here, in particular, I just found absolutely brilliant, and as well done as I ever saw. I'm talking about the river crossing scene. The song along with the shots of your feet crossing the river were just something else. Exceedingly brilliant work mr Brian.. ;)

@flan984 Hi Rui! : )
Haha! Yes, crossing the River was a wonderful experience. Matt coached me before the crossing. He explained that the River is deceptive! It may look only a foot or two (half a meter) deep, but don't be fooled! There is a very powerful pull or tug on your legs. Like a magnetic pull. I treasure the experience myself, and I'm glad others could experience it second-hand! Brian.
