Awesome. Amazing interview, amazing man. We accept Jeff no matter what. We owe that man so much because if it wasn't for him and the old Possessed members, a lot of us death metal guys wouldn't be here today. We owe this man our lives. @divinalt Of course I know this version and most cover versions for Possessed that you can get hold of. Also have the Tribute album, the DVD etc. ... do you have an email or something? It is better than posting cmts here. None of those people here will understand.

@mattersburg71 wow...i never listened anything from them since the band has ended their activities, but i would like...you have great opinions about the band, not just acting like an idiot fan trying to prove your ideas with no sense....cheers !!! I think both of we are sad about the end of this legendary band, but we have 03 great albuns, they wrote Possessed´s name on extreme metal music hall of fame, let´s call this way...hehe...have you ever heard Cannibal Corpse´s version from The Exorcist?

@divinalt I know and I love the stuff Mike did with Possessed on those two demotapes and on all the rehearsals from that era. I have all them songs. Mike is stubborn, unfortunately. So is Jeff. I wonder how they could get along in the beginning so well. The end of the band began in late 1986 when Jeff's drug problems got worse and the chemistry within the band was destroyed. I was in contact with Torrao till 2010 but now he is gone to his asylum again and refuses every contact to the scene.

I think they were a awesome band, i just don´t like the lyrics, its like a child trying to fear his parents....rsrsrsrs....i don´t know if its true or not, but Gary Holt told on an interview at a serious magazine here in Brazil (i´m from Brazil) that those guys are a real straight kids, and obeyed his parents very much....haha...its funny... anyway, Mike Torrao tried to move forward with the band when Becerra got shot in his back, a real tragedy, but he gave up.

@divinalt There is no other band on this planet that has lost its identity for loss of composers and why the hell Jeff isn't doing the only right thing and change name is a proof of his real intentions - to milk a name for the devil's sake and for getting recognition that he needs like a dog - ask former friends of him, they will tell you some truths about him. Just sad what happened to the mightiest band in the world ... just so fucking sad!!!

@divinalt Yes, it seems you are one of the REAL fans that are left - and not some trendy hop-on's, hop-off's of nowadays who think original Possessed were Sadistic Intent and Jeff and now complain about the "new line-up" not being down-tuned, what a waste of time those fucks!!!

@mattersburg71 I agree with you....I´ve first heard Possessed´s album Seven Churches on 89´s.....and keep hearing ´till today...its a great band, but for me the band was 4 guys....Mike´s, Jeff and Larry.....he came to Brasil, but i haven´t went to gig, cause nowadays this is not Possessed, this is Jeff and friends playing Possessed´s songs. its ok for him, but not for me. I prefer just listen the albuns, and i have a dvd bottleg old school, the four pieces, and its great.
