Normally I like to make videos about fireworks activity but occasionally like to throw in a food video.
The Cactus Pear is a very unique fruit that grows on a Cactus. Here I demonstrate the best way to cut it.

  • fuck you! you wasted too much of the pear cactus!

the 2 ends of it could be eaten as well and you just did the most stupid thing on earth!

  • @maicongphuc I think you parents may have already "did the most stupid thing on the earth".

  • white coconuts are just immature coconuts they are older than a drinking coconut but younger than a ripe coconut the husk must be removed manually.

    mmmm I love prickly pears

  • @Ralphgtx280 I though I read somewhere that there is Cactus everywhere in Australia. There were introduced into the country long ago and now they are a problem.

  • These are readily available out here in Southern California where I live, although I don't think I have ever had the pleasure.

You mentioned the price of a case of the cactus pears, but would you mind estimating the cost of all of the ethnic food that was on the table? It looked like quite a wonderful collection, and I am sure it wasn't cheap.

  • @L33tP1ckL Peanut oil was 8 , coconut was 3 Muscat grapes 1.49 per pound. The black walnut were 12. the rest of the items were under 10 each.

  • The strip district, love that place, I have gotten that bread before, its great.

  • what do they taste like?

  • Seventeen bucks!! OUCH! During their season you should hop over the border to Onatrio. I pay $9.99 for 30 of the exact same brand here. And it can be even cheaper if the store bought them in bulk. Wow, and theres still idiots here in Ontario that hop the border for shoping, my experience is that most food is cheaper here for whatever reason.

  • pretty funny i live in Holland and i watch your videos, and we eat the same soup(mama)

  • I can't tell what the MAMA ones say underneath, but the bigger package of noodles is actually korean, not Chinese. The mushrooms are also from Japan, not China. The more you know :)

  • its easier to open "pitallas" that is what they are called in Spanish. if you place both thumbs on top of it and and press down and you can easily peal it that way, i have ate the red, purple, yellow and white ones. the purple one are the best ones to eat and the spikes are easy to take off or just brush it of with a stick

  • Prickly Pears hear in Arizona, and it is prickly pear season (August).

Never heard them called "Cactus Pear" before.

Anyhow the best part is; like acorns in New England, these grow in the wild, so you don't need to pay a cent... just walk outside at pluck them!

In the southwest, the fruit is made into a very popular jam, while the cactus is used to make plaster.
