The sony has a better quality screen and better quality sound. those are the main competing elements.
However simple things like the name come into it and I'm not sure if the X series walkman is a very catchy name.

should have had 3.5 inch, and a d.a.b radio, and come with standard earphones, if you care about sound quality, you will most likely have a good pair anyway.

1) its OLED. So it would bump the unit price past the price of the touch.
2) 32gb is as big as flash memory comes
3)I dont see an FM tuner on an itouch.

I will stick with my Cowon S9... Superior audio, superior screen (a little bit bigger than this one), superior format support (actually let's you play unconverted Divx and Xvid) and superior battery life.
It looks nicer too, IMO.

Ipod Touch doesn't even get the very basics of being a PMP right.

Video playback is 9 hrs and music playback is 33 hrs about 16hrs with noise cancellation on.
whats really kick ass is the sound ! what a DMP should primarily be about.......launch is may end
if you thought the A820 series sounded nice this is life the next level !!
