The Small Band-Aid Concert;

The vision, of Canadian songwriter and impresario Don Coleman, was to create a charity event that would have a positive effect on everyone in the community of Greater Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada.

The DVD release, from the concert, showcases the highlights of the event, that was held at the Riverview Arts Centre on May 31st 2009, which contains performances from some of New Brunswick's premiere musical artists.
Note For Note (in memory of Jeff Healey) written by concert organizer Don Coleman was the final performance of the evening. Don was joined on stage by his pal Shelby Murray and they performed the song, originally recorded by a seven piece blues band in March of 2009. Coleman witnessed a performance by Jeff Healey at a tiny club on Spadina Ave in Toronto called Grossman's Tavern. Following the passing of Jeff in 2008 he wrote the song Note For Note to honour the late, great Canadian bluesman.

The "Small Bandaid Campaign " was initiated by "The Friends of The Moncton Hospital Foundation" to purchase high-tech endoscopic equipment to reduce patient trauma from surgery and the time they spend in the operating room, which allows patients to go home sooner. The equipment will help doctors to perform surgeries faster and shorten the amount of time patients are under anesthesia and will improve overall patient outcomes. The clearer views into the body mean that smaller incisions can be made which results in less damage to healthy tissue and less blood loss.

The concert ended with a 4 minute standing ovation following the performance of "Note For Note (in memory of Jeff Healey)" the late great Canadian blues musician.

The event was a grand success, by raising thousands of dollars for the hospital campaign and continues to do so, through the purchase of this DVD.
