@AdamsSara I don't like Marc Kirschenbaum becaus its quite hard and it has no matches!!!
-
its a 3 to 1 ratio eg. for every three feet u have long u add 1 foot wide. u can double that make it 6 feet long and 2 feet wide
-
Well, that depends on how large you want the matchbox to be...
Go for 12in x 4in for a relative realistic sized model.

3 inches by one? 3 feet by 1? tell me!

What is the size of the paper?

@marvel2326 The paper needs to have a ratio of 3 by 1. Go for 12in x 4in for a relatively realisticly sized model.

@ROBLOXOrigami The matchbox is easier to fold.

Because you do what you do so well... I feel like this is an evil thing to ask! Would you please make the box without the matches? I'd like to use it as a gift box.
Thank you:)

You can easily modify that yourself. Simply leave out the step where you form the matches. Everything else works the same. [If you want to do a slightly more sophisticated modification, you can save the paper needed for the matches.]
There's also a matchbox (without matches) by Marc Kirschenbaum. You can open it both ways, as the "spring" is in the centre of the model, rather than the end (as in Dave Brill's version).
