I have noticed that her glitter is different colors on different spots of her fur. And I adore her tummy! I love the spots, and it is super soft
And I know what you mean about the war of wills! Cutting their nails shouldn't be that traumatic. It doesn't hurt them as long as their quick isn't cut into, so it really should be easy. Forcing cats to do anything is always going to be a battle. So forget fighting with the kitties and work with them to trim their nails! Everybody wins that way :)
I think you should find on a glitter marble that her gold glitter in in her light parts, but in her medium browns you should see copper glitter, and in her most dark brown you'd see onyx colored glitter.
And she has a white tummy! Ukee, our non-glitter bengal, has the proper bright white tummy, but Koru, our glitter bengal, has just a blonde tummy.
Some people make a big deal about cutting nails, turing it into a test of wills with their cat. But it is so easy as you describe.
Thank you! She is loaded with gold glitter! I frequently mess with her little paws. Sometimes she enjoys it so much she spreads and stretches them out so I can massage in between her nails more. And then I quickly cut her nails without her even knowing it! Sometimes, she lets me cut them when she is awake (If I am really smooth :)
Very cute new addition to your family. Looks like glitter on the forehead, which means likely the whole coat. If you don't know glitter go to bengalchatter and search "glitter"; there are some clear pictures of Koru's and others. Keep handling his/her feet and paws and they'll get acustom to it, which will make nail trimming easy. Sleeping like this is a good time to trim one or two before they wake.
